Plantenmarkt Amstelveld
Monday on the Amstelveld means plants. About 30 stalls set up on this square by the Prinsengracht, next to the wooden Amstelkerk, with flowers and plants for gardens and balconies and a wide choice of herbs and bulbs. It is a very different market from the Bloemenmarkt on the Singel: this one is for people who are going to plant what they buy. The square itself is worth seeing, with the old wooden church at its edge.

When to go
The market is on Mondays. I amsterdam gives no hours, and the only times we found are from the city's market data, which lists 9am to 6pm and dates from 2022, so check before you make a special trip. Neither source says whether it runs all year.
What's on the stalls
I amsterdam lists flowers and plants for gardens and balconies, herbs and bulbs. There is no market website, only a Facebook page, so for changes around public holidays look there.
